The software to be implemented was the 7N client’s policy administration module, which is the leading Nordic platform with the industry’s most potent calculation engine within policy administration and contract management. The module supports the market interest rate, average rate, life cycle products, and unit-linked products in one single solution and can be extended with company-specific functionalities.

Karsten has been involved from the beginning of the project in 2017 until the end of it in 2022. Throughout this period, Karsten has helped 7N’s client with the initial analysis of company X’s current systems and data, followed by designing a strategy on how to convert the data and finally handling the conversion itself. Furthermore, Karsten built the playbook outlining the project’s approach, describing all workflows, and standard procedures, while at the same time handling the complicated cut-over process that included an extensive reformation of the data model, as the data could not be translated one-to-one.

A total of 15 contract extensions prove Karsten’s extraordinary and indispensable effort in the project. He is a highly experienced consultant who excels in communicating with both the business and IT. With significantly more hours put into work in the last month of the project, Karsten once again showed dedication and commitment to the success of the project, and there is no doubt that he has made a great impact on the project.
