About the session

A methodological framework for analysis and documentation when designing it-supported business systems

This session will propose a methodological framework for designing IT-supported business systems. Said framework uses a model-based approach to analyze, design, and document the different aspects of IT systems to automate business:

  • The business domain comprises business processes, information, and rules.
  • Functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Solution architecture and design.

Attendants will get an overview of how the proposed modeling and documentation framework can produce the needed basis for developing it-supported business systems. Moreover, the proposed framework fits nicely together with either TOGAF or RUP.
