About the session
Designing software solutions with sustainability in mind
As part of the ever-changing reality of sustainability, we face new challenges and customer expectations. Designing software and building IT systems in sustainable ways can yield significant gains. We already know that code + data = energy = CO2. But what does sustainability really mean for the IT industry beyond the usual topics like CO2 emissions and global goals?
Anja will share concrete examples of the importance of the design phase in projects. Together, we will explore what a more sustainable future for the IT industry looks like and how we can make a decisive difference when designing and building new IT systems.
