About the session
How IT supports the journey towards achieving sustainability goals
Technology plays a significant role in the journey toward a more sustainable world. The instructor will share concrete examples of how technology can support sustainability initiatives, including how data is used to prevent, optimize, and accelerate the agenda at companies.
She will explain how IT can support legislation compliance and reporting and help create the transparency and documentation needed to communicate and market sustainability. Finally, she will go into how IT design can nudge the customers to make more sustainable choices, and lower CO2 and costs for the companies.
Your instructor
The instructor has 20 years of experience in the IT industry and 5 years of experience in enabling the sustainability agenda. She co-created Responsible Computing and is helping organizations design and implement sustainable IT strategies focused on lowering CO2, avoiding bias in the code, and saving costs through sustainable IT. She also assists clients with innovative solutions for ESG reporting, supply chain optimization, and double materiality assessment.
