About this workshop

How to gain real benefit from agility
Agile is often seen as a catch-all concept that justifies product non-compliance with specifications or eliminates unwelcome project phases (e.g., documentation). However, when correctly implemented and, most importantly, well-received by employees, agile methodology can not only significantly improve efficiency but also bring a breath of fresh air and contribute to the beneficial integration of production teams and decision-makers. The key is correct adoption—not necessarily more complicated—and this is where the game format can help. The game involves 3-5 small teams competing in building Lego cars in a production line.

The workshop will help not only in understanding the methodology but also, and perhaps more importantly, in building confidence in the less obvious aspects of agile methods, including why it is worth measuring the process, whether and how to negotiate with the client, and whether agile is suitable for everything. Additionally, team managers will be able to assess the various abilities of individual team members in a controlled environment.
